Supplies & Tools:

  • Felt, cardstock (65 lb.-80 lb.), or vinyl (iron-on or permanant) — your choice! If you use felt, I highly recommend the Cricut brand felt as it cuts best — I used the Sky Felt Sampler.
  • A Cricut cutting machine, such a Cricut Maker, Cricut Explore, or Cricut Joy (paper and vinyl only)
  • Glue (if you're using felt or cardstock)
  • Cricut EasyPress or iron, plus a pressing mat (if you're using iron-on vinyl)
  • Transfer tape (if you're using permanent vinyl)
  • Rotary blade (if you're using the Cricut Maker to cut felt)
  • Blue or green cutting mat (for paper and vinyl) or purple or pink fabric cutting mat (for felt)
  • (Optional) 6" length of ribbon or cord for hanging your ornament
  • Free Pattern (Printable PDF, SVG Cut File, and DXF formats)
